Can children under 16 years have the vaccine?

On 21st June the Pfizer vaccine was provisionally approved for use for adolescents aged 12 – 15 years by Medsafe. The NZ cabinet is now considering ‘decision to use’ approval. The Pfizer vaccine is not currently approved for use for children under the age of 12 years.
